Description |
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers and students around the globe continue education remotely with the use of information technologies. City University of Hong Kong was one of the front runners to transition from physical classes to synchronous online teaching and learning (also known as CityU-Learning) in 8 days. While the pandemic persists, the extensive use of e-learning tools broadens from lectures and tutorials to laboratory work, practicums, and examinations. A revolution in education has been progressing with the contributions of all educators and learners. The seminar will reflect on what we did in 2020 and before to empower this education revolution, review the lessons learnt, and predict the new normal of teaching and learning after the pandemic. |
